JP Castel

Studying producing at UCLA, JP began his career at Paramount, working for legendary producer Robert Evans. He then went on to independently produce several films that have premiered at festivals around the world, including SXSW, Sundance, and Cannes. In 2015, he exec-produced Krisha, which was purchased by A24 and won both the John Cassavetes Independent Spirit Award and an IFP Gotham Award. JP also works in television & commercial production, and has recently produced several virtual reality projects for clients including General Electric, LA Philharmonic, and the UN Foundation.
